The Panhandle Chapter of the Texas Society of CPA’s is a registered sponsor with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. We renew the sponsorship each year and are required to send a full report of our offered CPE hours, classroom topics, seminar dates and engaged speakers.
We ask our speakers to provide topics, biographies, descriptions of the class, and what the participant may be expected to learn from the class along with some other information that is required by the TSBPA.
As we gain information regarding the offered seminars, we post the information to our website.
We strive fulfill the following sponsor requirements as set out by the TSBPA in their Texas State Board Report, Volume 87, Dated May, 2006.
“The standards by which courses are evaluated require sponsors to (1) state the purpose and proposed audience in course materials/advertising; (2) provide a course overview of what the participant could expect to learn by taking the course; (3) state learning objectives and develop course materials to achieve these objectives; (4) engage qualified instructors or speakers; and (f) include an evaluation of the course by the attendees.”
